About the Course
Industry Etiquette: Breaking Into Fashion & Entertainment is a foundational class designed for aspiring models, actors, creatives, and talent looking to get in, and stay in, the industry. Taught by Javan Plummer, a creative director, producer, and founder of several Houston-based creative brands, this class strips away the guesswork and brings clarity to what it really takes to succeed in fashion and media today.
From the moment you step into a casting to the way you follow up with a client, every move you make matters. This class covers professionalism, personal branding, time management, set behavior, and real-world expectations that will either make or break your reputation.
You’ll also get a rare behind-the-scenes look at how real fashion shows and productions are run, including stories from Beyond the Runway, one of Houston’s most inclusive and dynamic fashion experiences to date.
